Thanks Jim. Jo and I were saying on Sunday, it is a real pleasure to have you working with us on this.
Your advice is always considered and thorough.
I have worked with Jim Mitchell as my architect on the renovation and extension of my home in Lane Cove. My house was a 1950’s two bedroom one bathroom house. It was a characterless small cottage on a block with a north facing back garden and I wanted to capitalise on its potential. Jim developed a design that maximised the space within the house. It brought in light and winter sun. Furthermore, the creative addition of two terraces gave the house an attractive street frontage previously missing. Throughout the development and building phases of the project Jim was constantly mindful of my budget. He was thorough in his development of the tender documents and careful in his recommendations regarding builders. All provisional sums for items that I was to provide were well researched and highly competitive. I found Jim a delight to work with. He listened carefully, communicated regularly and was always available to discuss and address issues as they arose. Finally, I particularly appreciated Jim’s advice on aesthetic decisions such as colours, finishes, timbers and tiles. These choices along with the design have made the house a sophisticated blend of classic and contemporary styling.

Dear Jim We just wanted to thank you for your superb design work on our renovation. We’re really thrilled with the end result and are so pleased we took the plunge! The house is unrecognizable at the back and we are getting lots of compliments on your design. It really was a very smooth process with both yourself and Wally (builder)- we couldn’t recommend you both highly enough! We enjoyed our association and please remember us as references for any prospective clients-we’d be delighted to show people.
All the best P and N

You should feel proud. You are many things but one as an agent for creating beautiful wonderful dwellings and it feels great that I found you.
